SISMI REP^® structural knot
The structural knot, placed on the flange at the floor level, is used inside the tubular steel pillars filled with concrete in order to solidarize the horizontal bearing structures with the vertical ones.
SISMI REP^® knot is placed at the intersection between beam and pillar to govern local effects of tensions diffusion, gives an efficient dissipative seismic answer , and can connect bearing beams in both directions too.
